Important Events and Reminders:

In an effort to streamline the Superintendent’s Notes, I will provide important upcoming events or announcements that have already been posted in previous Superintendent’s Notes in this section.

Support the Maynard Education Foundation (MEF)

Help support the Maynard Education Foundation (MEF) and enjoy a great meal any Tuesday in October at Not Your Average Joe's in Acton. When you tell your server that you are a MEF supporter, Not Your Average Joe's will donate 15% of your purchase* to MEF. *(Offer excludes alcohol, tax, and gratuity.)

Don't miss this opportunity to help raise funds for MEF's grant program!
(Please note you must mention MEF or present a certificate (available at www.maynardeducation.org) for MEF to receive a donation.)

MMA Casino Night

Vouchers are now available for the annual Casino Night sponsored by the Maynard Music Association. Casino Night will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Maynard Elks from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Vouchers are $40 apiece, $35 for two or more, and $45 the day of the event. The price includes $3000 in gaming chips for the night! Last year’s event was sold out!

This year’s event will feature a live auction for a 7 night two-bedroom resort stay valued at up to $2000, four one day Disney Park Hopper Passes, a 20 person Pool Party at Jillian's of Boston, and a 60 minute plane ride with local pilot, Tom Hesbach!

The Maynard Music Association supports band and chorus programs at Maynard High School and Fowler Middle School. The proceeds from this fundraiser contribute to scholarships, instrument purchases and repair, choral music and offset other miscellaneous music-related expenses. Vouchers can be purchased at the Fowler main office or by contacting Bonnie Wilson at 978-897-7045. For more information, check out our Face Book page: "Maynard Music Association."
