Class of 1965 Donation to the Maynard High School Scholarship Fund

The photo above was taken on Tuesday when Joe Mullen, representing the Maynard High School Class of 1965, donated $200 to Principal Caragianes for the Maynard High School Scholarship fund.

The Class of 1965 was the first graduating class from our previous high school building.  As part of their 50th reunion celebration, the class of 1965 arranged a tour last Saturday through Renee Muise the Maynard High School Guidance Counselor.  She arranged for some of our wonderful students to be guides on the tour.  After taking the tour the Class of 1965 "passed the hat" and raised the funds for this contribution.

The Maynard Public Schools appreciate the support of our alumni.

The music is amazing-"The Sorcerer's Apprentice", "Incantation and Dance" and "Carmina Burana" among others. This is a great night out for the adults as well as a great concert experience for serious musicians and their families. Hope you can come and enjoy!

Calling all pianists!

The High School is looking for a choral accompanist for its high school choruses. They meet Monday-Friday, 2:15-3pm during the school year. We perform a wide variety of literature so the person accompanying would need to be comfortable playing classical, renaissance, jazz, spirituals, musicals and pop literature. There is an annual stipend of $3,000.

Please contact Mrs. Blanchard at if you are interested. Please feel free to pass this along to folks in town that you may know who might be interested. We hope to interview the 3rd week of October.
