Superintendent's Notes

All Community Winter Concert! Wed. Dec. 18th

The first performance in the new Maynard High School Performing Arts Center will be the Maynard High School Winter Concert.  This year, in addition to the high school band and chorus, we are welcoming musicians from the community to come and join us. If you play a band instrument or sing and would like to be part of this special event, please e-mail Mrs. Blanchard at so that we can get the music to you. We welcome all alumni and anyone living in the town of Maynard or having a connection to the town, to come and perform with us!

Beauty and the Beast is coming to Maynard High School!

The first theatrical production in the beautiful new Maynard High School Performing Arts Center will be Beauty and the Beast this March! What a wonderful way to open the new theater!

Auditions are open to students at Maynard High School, and Fowler.  If there are a few students from Green Meadow in third grade who would be interested and can focus for rehearsals that are a few hours long, they may audition as well. We will have a few rehearsals in November but the bulk of the work will be done Jan-March.

Audition sign ups are in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center (right wing of the high school, if you look at the new high school from the front.  The gym is on the far left, the PAC is on the far right). All the information you need is right there on the board.
Auditions are Oct. 21-25.
